Yobe South Senator, Alh. Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai, Flaggs off Fika/Gadaka water supply Project

Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai representing Yobe South senatorial zone has inaugurated a multi-million naira water project in Fina and Gadaka.

The project is part of the campaign promises to the community in the build up to the 2019 elections

The Chairperson of Fika Local Government, Hajiya Halima Kyari Joda explained that the Fika-Gadaka water supply project is the top most priority giving the terrain of the area.

Apart from siting of the water project,, Senator Bomai also assisted the two communities with the construction of twenty five Mosques, over nine hundred Women empowered, establishment of Constituency Office, Provision of ICT Centers in Potiskum, Damagum and Mamudo.

Speaking on behalf of the two communities, Alhaji Goni Fika, Chairman of the Critical stakeholders forum, Fika Local Government Area thanked the senator for completing the water project.

He said the project was conceived in 1989, almost twenty years now.

He added that with the zeal and doggedness of Bomai the shortages of drinking water is now a history.
