Niger state government has announced date for the re opening of public schools on phased basis.
The announcement followed two weeks closure of public schools by Niger state government for the conduct of risk assessment.
Commissioner of Education hajiya Hannatu Jibrin Salihu stated this in a statement after it’s expanded management meeting in Minna.
The statement explained that all public day secondary schools are to re open on Monday while low risk boarding secondary schools in rural areas are to run as day schools during the period are to re open on Tuesday.
According to her public day schools in areas of high risk that would run cluster with selected safe schools in nearby communities would re open on a later date to be announced after adequate arrangements are concluded.
