The Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) Kebbi State Chapter has given the State Government three weeks ultimatum to implement the current report submitted to it in 2018 by the Seven man committee headed by Abubakar Cika Ladan.
In a statement signed by the State Chairman of the union, Comrade Umar Bawa and made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi.
The statement revealed that, after series of consultations from sister states of Jigawa, Katsina and Kaduna and only to discover that, the State chapter of JUSUN staff are at the lower table in terms of salary structure and of course hazard and outfit allowances.
The statement addede that, the union observed that, the vasic salary enjoyed by tge State judicial staff was at per with its sister states examine the only difference was in the area of allowances paid them which include furnityre, outfit and inducement allowances.
The statement called on the State Government to consider the review and payment of allowances to the State judicairy staff( non Magistrate and Sharia Court Judges) like other states of katsina and Jigawa.
Likewise the statement addede that, the lives of Judges, Magistrates, Litigants and the entire Judicial staff ina Zuru axis of the state are in danger as a result of the activities of a gropu “Yansakai” in Zuru which the State Government remains mute after the Nigeria Bar Associationn issued a three weeks warning strike action in this regard.
However, by this situation, the union compelled to embark on the strike action by 23rd of this month.
