Jigawa state government has reaffirmed its commitment towards improving the quality of education in the state.
The state commissioner for education Dr Lawal Yunusa Dan Zomo stated this when he visited boarding secondary schools in Birnin Kudu zone.
According to him, the aim of the visit was to identify structures that need urgent government attention to improved learning process.
Dr. Yunusa Danzomo said the state government will soon award contract for the execution of projects in secondary schools to provide conducive atmosphere of learning at schools.
The commissioner said the visit will also enable him to meet with heads of schools, members of school based management committees, PTA, traditional rulers and security personnel.
