Former Acting National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje says the party has commenced processes to bring back old members who dumped the party in the build up to the last general elections in 2019.

Alhaji Baraje stated this at the inaugural meeting of the party’s reconciliation and contact committee held in Ilorin the Kwara state capital.

According to him no efforts will be spared in bringing back old members of the party who have joined other political parties.

He explained that the committee will also visit nooks and crannies of the state to meet with aggrieved members of the party and reconcile them.

Alhaji Baraje assured that the grievances of those that have left for other parties and the aggrieved ones who are still in the party’s fold will be genuinely and wholistically addressed.

He noted that plans are on to meet with every stakeholder of the party, including youth and women, with a view to iron out issues and bring the party to unison ahead of the 2023 general elections.END
