FG says it will continue to adopt new innovations towards tackling insecurity

Federal Government says it will continue to adopt new innovations towards tackling insecurity in the country.

Minister of Police Affairs, Alhaji Muhamned Dingyadi stated this at the inauguration of a Police Public Relations School in Lafia, Nasarawa State capital.

The minister, represented by a director in the ministry, Mr Tunde Bombata said the security challenge facing the country was surmountable as consistent support would be given to all security agencies to succeed.

Inspector General of Police, Mr Muhammed Adamu represented by DIG David Oyebanji said the police force would remain committed in deploying new strategies and initiatives towards finding lasting solution to the security challenges in the country.

The Inspector General of Police pointed out that the school was to train police officers and personnel of other security agencies as well as civilians in the areas of rebranding the image of the police force in line with the current trend.

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, represented by the Deputy Governor Dr. Emmanuel Akabe commended the federal government for establishing the school in the state.
