In his Sallah message the Emir of Fika and Chairman Yobe State Council of Chiefs, Dr Muhammad Ibn Abali Muhammad Idrissa, call on all eligible persons in Yobe state to take advantage of the ongoing online voter registration been conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, to registered for the next coming election.
“Let me use this festive season to call for those who don’t registered and those who’s recently complete their eighteen years to register with the INEC before closing date”.
The Emir commended youths in the emirate for actively participating in selves help projects like cleaning of drainages to prevent flood in their communities in this rainy season.
Speaking on the high rate of inflation on price of the food items, the Emir call on the Government at all levels to take necessary measures in addressing the issue in order to ease people suffering.
“I also want to use this an opportunity to appeal to the state and the federal governments to provide ways of assisting our people”.
While commending security agencies on their efforts towards restoration of peace, the Royal Father, urge them to do more to completely eradicate any form of criminality in the country.
He further called on the public to be security concious by reporting any suspecious persons movement to the authority concern for prompt action.
The Monarch also advised parents to make their children from five years and below available for the vaccination against malaria fever.
