Corp members in Yobe state played significant role in COVID-19 awareness – State Coordinator

NYSC BATCH A-YOBE. The Yobe state coordinator of the National Youth Service Corp Mrs Grace Adzer says corp members in the state have played significant role in complementing government effort in COVID-19 awareness campaigns to mitigate the consequence of the pandemic. Mrs Grace Adzer states this during the passing out ceremony 2020 Batch “A” corp members held at the Damaturu Local Government secretariats. She explained that the out going corp members have been among the front line personnel in the fight against the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in Yobe state and therefore deserved special commendation for the role played. The Yobe state NYSC coordinator also admonished them to key into the government’s private sector driven economic policy by uterlising the experienced they acquired on self reliance and management of small scale businesses to contribute their quoter towards booting the economy.” The experience and salient lessons of the service year should serve as a guide in the discharge of higher responsibilities” She announced that certificates of three corp members have been withheld for disciplinary reasons and one the 2020 Batch “A” corp members Aisha Garba Ibrahim loss her life during the service year.
