President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed gratitude to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for being faithful and consistent in assisting Nigeria, particularly in the training of members of her armed forces.
The President made the appreciation in Abuja while receiving the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Islamic Republic, General Nadeem Raza.
President Buhari told General Raza that some of his colleagues got trained in Pakistan, saying that the Nigerian Army had benefitted immensely from Pakistani friendship.
General Raza had said Nigeria was the most important country in Africa, and that Pakistan values her collaboration.
He said Pakistan had also benefitted greatly from her co-operation with Nigeria.
