PASAN, Niger State Chapter, gives ultimatum over of 22 months wage arrears

 

Niger state chapter of the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria PASAN has given the state government seven day ultimatum to pay fifty percent balance of their year twenty twenty output allowance or withdraw it’s services.

This is contain in a communique of it’s emergency congress meeting jointly signed and issued to Newsmen in Minna by its Chairman Comrade Muhammad Sunusi Salis and Secretary Comrade Mohd Idris.

It also advises leadership of the Niger state House of Assembly to take welfare of staff as a right and not a privilege.

The statement explains that the nationwide industrial strike embarked upon by PASAN was suspended to facilitate passage of necessary legislation as contained in the memorandum of agreement.

It however commends PASAN executives and members for their unalloyed support resilience and steadfastness all through the struggle a d called for more to succeed.
