An attempt to impeach Kebbi State APC party Chairman has failed

As the crises worsening in the All Progressives Congress in Kebbi State, an attempt to impeach the state party Chairman failed this Saturday during a meeting of the State and local government party executives.

The State Assistant Secretary, Malam Zayyana Umar Aleiro, who spoke to newsmen after the meeting explains that, the meeting was to receive complains by some members against the state party Chairman Alhaji Bala Dani Kangiwa.

Malam Zayyana Aleiro said, following the received of the complains, an eleven member committee has been set up to investigate the allegations and report to back to the party within a stipulated time.

According to him, the complaints are failure for calling of meetings and non challen attitude of the party’s affairs by the state Chairman.

While answering questions from newsmen on why the state Chairman and five other executives where not in attendance at the meeting, the Assistant Secretary told newsmen that, there was an announcement on media houses with regard to the meeting.

Also speaking, the State Chairman Board of Trustees, Malam Sani Hukuma Zauro, said the party was in order, there is no crises as insinuated by some people who don’t want to see the progress of the party in the state.

“Anyone saying that, there is crises in the party, the crises is from him”.

Malam Sani Zauro, therefore warned the executives particularly local government party Chairmen to desist from making hypocritical comments as anyone found wanting will have himself to blame.

“We are calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to thanked Governor Atiku Bagudu on behalf of the people of the state considering projects executed by the Governor that have direct bearing to the people in the state”.
