Yobe State Government donates equipments to NIMC

In its efforts to ensure that every citizen of the state have been registered with the National Identity Management Commission NIMC, Yobe state Government under the able leadership of Governor Mai Mala Buni has donated equipments worth millions of naira to the commission’s in the state.

Presenting the items on behalf of the State Government at Yobe state contributory health management agency commission’s office complex Damaturu, the Commissioner of Health Dr. Muhammad Lawan Gana, said the donation will improve the lives of the vulnerable ones for making things easy for them to obtain their National Identity Number that will enable them access to be enroll into Contributory Health Care Management Scheme, under the Basic Health Care Provision Fund.

The Commissioner also described the donation as one of the achievements of Governor Mai Mala Buni’s administration for making things easier to the people.

He also called on the commission to make a judicial use of the items.

In his remark, the Executive Secretary Yobe State Contributory Health Care Management Agency Dr Babagana Tijjani, has commended Governor Mai Mala Buni’s administration for supporting the agency.

He disclose that items donated include power generator set, data capture machines, UPS, printers and scanning machines among others.

Receiving the donation Director General NIMC, represented by the state Coordinator Garba Musa, thanked Yobe state government for the kind gesture, saying that the commission will make use of the items for the purpose intended.

He further assured that his commission will do everything possible to ensure that no yobe resident is left behind.
