Vigilante Group in Lapia LGA of Niger state, kills not fewer than nine armed bandits and arrested four others

No fewer than nine armed bandits have been killed and four others arrested by members of vigilante Group in Lapai local government council of Niger state.

The incident occurred yesterday during an exchange of gun fire at Fapo near Gulu in Azza community.

Luck run out of the bandits when two persons going to pay ransom where told to go back and buy for them bread rice semovita and recharge cards during which on their way back saw some vigilante members and informed them on the development.

An eye witness who pleaded anonomity said members of vigilante went and re inforced then attack the bandits leading to attainment of such casualty figure.

Similarly ten people including an Imam have been abducted by armed bandits in Suleja local government council of the state.

They were abducted last Thursday at Chaza village by the banditts.
