Suspected cattle rustlers were seen in the possession of one Ibrahim Musa and Kabiru Musa all of Ladduga village of Kachia LGA

In another development, on the same date, the command received information from Ladduga that some suspected rustled cows were seen in the possession of one Ibrahim Musa and Kabiru Musa all of Ladduga village of Kachia LGA.

The command’s spokesperson ASP Mohammed Jalige said on the receipt of the information, operatives were mobilized to the area and succeeded in apprehending the suspects and recovered thirty-two cows and ten sheep, which were identified to have been rustled from Bauchi State.

ASP Mohammed Jalige noted that the successes were not unconnected to the renewed collaboration between the police and communities in the areas through prompt intelligence sharing.

He expressed the command’s appreciation and called on residents to support the police in that direction, and assured on confidentiality while acting on shared intelligence.

ASP Mohammed Jalige added that the Commissioner of Police, Umar Musa Muri has charged officers and men of the command to work very closely with the locals to improve on the current onslaught.
