Senator Bomai, sympathize with victims of Potiskum Market Fire outbreak

The Senator representing Yobe South Senatorial District, Alh. Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai, has sympathized with Potiskum Market Fire victims.

Senator Bomai described the fire outbreak as worrisome, disturbing and another huge economic set back to the people in this trying period of hardship.

Recalling the previous fire outbreak at Potiskum Central Market in December 2020, the Senator said, “we should take it as another test from Allah and all of us should pray to Him to bring succour to those who suffered and replace their losses within the shortest possible time”.

While commiserating with the affected victims and the entire traders of the market as well as the Potiskum community, He called on the market people particularly the UMAPO to become very vigilant in enforcing all fire safety measures in order to avert future incidents by the will of Allah.

The Senator prayed for Allah’s comfort to the affected traders and to replace their lost with blessings.
