MEDICAL ATTENTION IS GIVEN TO STUDENTS OF GGSSS JANGEBE

The 279 abducted students of government girls secondary school Jangebe whose regained their freedom today are currently receiving medical attention by the joint state government and Police medical teams in Gusau, the state capital.

Governor Bello Matawalle of the state who leads the abductees to the treatment center urged their parents to exercise more patience adding that their children would soon be reunite with them shortly after receiving the medical attention.

Matawalle who commended the effort of the security personnel whose shows commitment, patriotism and professionalism in rescuing the abductees also urged federal government to deploy more security personnel to flush out all forms of criminalities in the state and the country at large.

In an interview with the abductees, they lamented that the bandits are terrorising them day and night during their captivity giving them rice mixed with sand to eat and slept in a deep whole without any thing to cover themselves.

They added that, they left their school bare footed and tracked for over ten hours in the bush from 11:00 pm to 10:00 am without knowing their final destination.
