Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has relaxed the curfew imposee on Offa and Erin-Ile, Communities.
A statement issued by the governor AbdulRazq’s spokesman Rafiu Ajakaye said the curfew period will now run between 8p.m. and 6a.m. daily , effective from Wednesday March 24.
The Governor had on March 4 imposed a 6p.m. to 8a.m. curfew on the two towns following renewed hostilities in the communities.
AbdulRazq appealed to leaders on both sides to continue to restrain and caution their people against provocative action, and to maintain peace.
He however commended the security agencies for ensuring adequate security of lives and properties in the state.
