The Kebbi State Police Command has arrested four suspected crimimals with localy made guns and kidnapping in the state.
Briefing newsmen, the State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Adeleke Adeyinka Bode, through the image maker of the Command, DSP Nafiu Abubakar, said the Police attached to the Divisional Police Headquarters, Yauri, while on a routine patrol along Malando and Garin Baka road intercepted one Ibrahim Bulus, aged 25 from Dirin Daji town of Sakaba local government area of the state in possession with three locally made double barrel and one single barrel guns.
According to the Commissioner of Police, the suspect Ibrahim Bulus while in the course of investigation confessed that, he was awarded contract of supplying the guns by one Musa Bulus aged 42 and Usman Musa aged 40 of the same Dirin Daji town and were all arrested in connection with the case.
Likewise, the Commissioner of Police said that, the Divisional Police officer Kangiwa in Kebbi State arrested one Salihu Abdullahi of Muza village in Yabo local government area of Sokoto State who delibratly kidnapped a 3 year old Abdulmalik Idris of same address.
He said, investigation is ongoing and suspects would be charge to court.
When interviewed, one of the suspect Ibrahim Bulus told Radio Nigeria that, localy made guns are being sold at open market in Dirin Daji.
However the Commissioner of Police solicited for the support and cooperation of the public to support security agencies in riding off crimimals and crimes in the state.
