The Kebbi State Government has engaged Vigilantee groups to mane security activities of schools across the state.
The State Commissioner for Basic Education, Alhaji Muhammadu Magawata Aleiro revealed this to Radio Nigeria in Birnin Kebbi.
The Commissioner said, the state has not close any school despite the security challenge in the zone but provided means of securing school on what is happening in schools of the North.
He explains that, after a stakeholders meeting with traditonal and community leaders, parents and Miyeti Allah Cattle Breders Assocition, comes out with a resolution to engage five or more Vigilantee men to secure every school in the state.
According to the Commissioner, the state has security challenge in Zuru axis but not as high as other neigbouring states.
