Cholera: Fourteen People have been reportedly Dead in Benue State

Ten people from Agatu Local Government Area and four children from Abinsi in Guma Local Government have died of cholera.

Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Dr. Joseph Ngbea made this known while giving an update on the disease.

He stated that the Ministry has investigated and confirmed the deaths to be from cholera and advised people especially those from river-rine areas to desist from using contaminated water except boiled to high temperature.

Dr Ngbea who maintained that twenty-five victims have been successfully treated said the ministry has supplied sufficient number of water guard in the affected areas.
