Borno State High Powered Committee on biometric data capture and verification of secondary school teachers has been inaugurated

Inaugurating the committee at the council chamber government house, the state deputy governor, Alhaji Umar Usman kadafur said the exercise will determined the specific areas that may require government special intervention in the education system that could profoundly improve the quality and output of the teaching staff.

The deputy governor also said the committee is mandated to appraise the academic qualifications and other relevant credentials of teachers and any other matter the committee deems relevant to it’s terms of reference.

Alhaji Umar Usman Kadafur said the committee members were selected best on their track record of experience ,therefore urged them to justify the conference reposed in them and complete the assignment on time.

He said the committee is given three months to complete it’s assignment and submit report to the government.

Responding on behalf of the members of the high powered committee, the chairman professor Suleiman Bello commended the state government for it’s effort in reforming the educational sector and promised to carry out the assignment as directed on time.
