Emir of Fika calls General Public to live in peace

His Royal Highness the Emir of Fika and Chairman Yobe State Council of Chiefs, Dr Muhammad Ibn Abali Muhammad Idrissa, has called on the General Public to live in peace with one another.

He made the call when he led the opening commissioning of Umaru kwallawa Jumma’at Mosque located at Jigawa ward in Potiskum town, under Fika Emirate Council.

Speaking on behalf of the Royal Father, District Head of Jigawa Dr.Dauda Muhammad, said he was directed to remind people about the importance of living in peace and harmony.

The Emir expressed satisfaction with the number of people converge to witness the opening ceremony, which he described as symbol of unity.

He also warned Youths not to allow themselves to be use by others to cause violence in order to achieve their personal gain.

He added that no meaningful development could be achieved without peace and unity.

In his remarks Sheikh Ibrahim Suleiman, who precided over the two raka’at Jumma’at opening prayer, prayed ALLAH for the permanent solution to the insecurity in the state and the country in general.
