NRHJN sensitizes female students on Menstrual Hygein, donates sanitary pads

The network of Reproductive Health Journalist of Nigeria Kano Chapter with support from AdAmu ABUBAKAR Gwarzo Foundation -AAG- Foundation has conducted a one sensitization program at a Girl’s Government school within Kano metropolis.

Speaking during the sensitization program the coordinator of the Network in Kano Abdullahi jalaluddeen said the networks organized the sensitization program in Commemoration of World Menstrual Hygein day celebrations ,and to sensitize secondary school female students on to maintain menstrual hygiene,geared towards enhancing their Health Status.

He said the network is a non profitable organization rather is a coalation of working journalist from different media outfits with like minds of uplifting the health Status of the general populace.

Malam Abdullahi jalaluddeen urged the students to make maximum utilization of the sensitization and stepdown the knowledge to other students , aimed at Achieving the set objectives.

In her remark while presenting a lecture on Menstrual Hygein a Health expert working with Government Hospital in Kano Metron Rabi Hassan urged the students to always maintain enviromental and body hygein aimed at curtailing being infected with infectious diseases.

“You have to be extra careful during menstrual periods,be changing your sanitary pads twice or thrice daily , depending on the your nature”

She Adviced the students to always seek medical advice whenever they experience abnormal menstrual bleeding ,and redouble their efforts in Maintaining there personal Health.

Earlier the principal of the Government school Applauded the foresight and Efforts of the Network of Reproductive Health Journalist of Nigeria with support from Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo foundation for providing the knowledge and sanitary pads to the students .

She appealed to other groups and individuals to Emulate the Good gesture of the Network.
