Ramadan: KCCI distributes support to needy

 

The Kano concern citizens initiative (KCCI) has advised wealthy individuals,group of people, philanthropist and community Associations to embrace the culture of helping the needy in the society aimed at alleviating the current economic sufferings in the country.

The president of the initiative Alhaji Bashir Usman Tofa gave the advice while inspecting the distribution of support to the needy at Rukayya House, Tarauni local Government of Kano state.

He appealed to the general populace to exhibit the habit of helping one another , especially during the holy month of Ramadan and Beyond.

Alhaji Bashir Usman Tofa expressed his appreciate on the fair play adopted during the screening and distribution of the support to the needy, saying this was the pilot scheme.

Earlier the chairman of walfare commitee,KCCI , Alhaji Bala Mohammad Borodo said one thousand people benefitted with the sum of five thousand Naira each, aimed at Enhancing their walfare .

He said the initiative with the collaboration of Muslim lawyers of Nigeria Kano Chapter have facilitate the release of 22 inmates who have civil cases and other Contractual Agreement,saying all there fines have been settled and have been giving transport money to go back to their destinations.

Members of the Association Lead by it’s chairman Alhaji Bashir Tofa extended the gesture of support to five Government Hospitals in Kano ,at which over three hundreds patients benefitted with the Gesture.
