Eleven persons have been killed two others wounded and about fifteen abducted by armed bandits in Mashegu and Mariga local government councils of Niger state.
The incident occurred when the armed bandits in their large numbers carrying dangerous weapons entered the areas and open fire sporadically killing and wounded some people.
Eleven people were killed at Gulbin Boka in Mashegu local government council while about fifteen abducted with two others wounded at Farar Doka in Mariga local government council of Niger state.
The bandits were also said to be on rampage around Rijiyar Nagwamatse area in Kontagora local government council of the state.
They were also alleged to have blocked the road leading to Minna and Kontagora for hours.
Most of the people in Niger state especially those from zone B wants state of emergency to be imposed in the affected areas due to mass killings cattle rustling and abduction by armed bandits.
